Assignment 6: Factor Analysis, Decomposition, or Logistic Regression (due April 17th);

                      Multinomial Logit (due April 24th)

This assignment is simple to describe: use either factor analysis, a decomposition of differences in means, a logistic regression, or a multinomial logit and write up your results. Use this as an opportunity to make further progress on your final project. You should frame your analysis theoretically and methodologically (i.e., it should be an improvement to your last writeup).

If you choose to do factor analysis you can either (1) factor analyze a set of variables and write up the results, or (2) factor analyze a set of variables, develop scales, and use these scales as interval variables in regression analyses. Obviously the latter choice is what you should do if you plan to use factor-based scales in your final project. The farther along you get on this assignment, the better off you'll be.

Talk with me if you feel none of these techniques is relevant to your project and we can work out something else.
